this little specially designed glass filter will convert your modified gopro from night to day instantly, it was designed to work with our highest quality lens 2.8mm wide view lens, & 5.4mm so you can quickly switch from night to day mode with out having to change the lens out. Finally a great solution for night & day filming to get the rich colors that the gopro offers. Easily pushes on around the lens ring for a tight hold, and will not fall off.Please note that if you use our 2.8mm 12mp night lens in the hero3 that you will need to sand down the top of your lens ring 1mm so the corners are not darkened when used outside the waterproof case. if you use our 2.8mm lens in the waterproof case it will have darkened corners due to the lens sitting deeper in the shaft, it catches the outer black square on the front of the housing, so you need to remove that front black square ring for it to see perfectly in the case.
