Operating Tips:
When in REC mode, you can use the remote that is hooked up to start and stop record. Simply slide the switch on the remote to start recording, then to stop, simply slide and hold it for 3 seconds, and it will turn off.
To review the video on the PV500, you will need to switch it back to the STOP mode, on the side of the unit. Once in this position, you will then be able to use the included PV500 Wireless Remote, to cycle thru the menu options. Keep in mind that when using the PV500 Wireless Remote, that you will need to aim it at the sensor, towards the bottom of the unit, as it does operate on IR signals. The PV500 Wireless Remote will not turn the unit on or off, as you must manually slide the on/off button.
