Brand new item designed for the hero2 camera line. This focus ring will allow you to use many of our lenses on the hero2 camera including the highest quality 1.55mm fish eye, & 5.4mm no fish eye lens. To install this ring you simply need to remove the stock lens, push out your lens bezel protector that surrounds the stock lens which is glued in from the inside. If you are familiar with the way the hero2 lens shaft is designed, then you will know that its not threaded all the way through the shaft which males it so many lenses will not focus because the threads start to deep,
This ring allows you to start threading in at the top of the shaft, & allows use of our 5.4mm highest quality lens with out any permanent modification to your camera which means you can always return it back to stock & use the stock lens later on if needed.
The ring simply threads into your camera housings open hole. Threading only a short way in keeps the ring level so the lens will focus perfectly instead of normally floating inside the lens shaft which will happen if you dont use this ring.
