I have bought several items from ragecams.com now. I use bullet cams on performance cars, airplanes, poles, and for hidden cams in wedding ceremonies. Their staff has always been prompt and very helpful with questions. I highly recommend the Sony 550 Res Bullet Camera with Varifocal 4-9mm lens. To date it is the best of 3 bullet cams I own. The resolution is very sharp and the color accuracy is very good both indoor and out. With simple twists, the varifocal adjustments allow for a tighter field of view or a more traditional bullet cam wide angle. The top cover/hood provides both an extra measure of protection and glare reduction from the sun as lens hoods do on full size cameras. Though they look bigger in the picture, they are only a few mm longer than say the 520 cam. First time you open the box and hold this baby you'll realize you are holding a bullet cam of a higher caliber. I have not yet tested the waterproof ability, but next spring plan to mount it on a canoe.
If you are tight for money, the 520 bullet cam kit works pretty well, but I suggest the remote for more adjustment control. However, if you can spare the extra $$ I suggest this 550 cam.
I plan to buy another as soon as I can afford one.
